Cheryline Lawson

I was lucky enough to interview Cheryline Lawson as part of our regular teleseminar series. Here are a few interesting things about Cheryline’s life I would like to share with you.

For more than 10 years, Cheryline has enjoyed a career as a freelance writer.  She has produced articles, ebooks and other documents for clients both using her byline and on a ghostwriting basis – and has expanded into creating her own informational products to promote on and offline.  It was when Cheryline started promoting products on an affiliate basis that she discovered certain techniques that would land her websites on the first page of Google within 72 hours, every time.

Cheryline is originally from Jamaica, and has two teenage sons ages 13 and 18.  She’s been married for 23 years and the family currently lives in Florida.  Cheryline returns frequently to Jamaica to visit family.  After her youngest starts college, she plans to return home to Jamaica permanently- and is thrilled that her internet work will allow her to live anywhere she chooses.

Her passion is writing.  She can’t seem to get enough of researching and putting information together articles and ebooks and other products.  Hercurrent focus is on self improvement and health topics.  In her early years working online, Cheryline got involved in affiliate marketing.  It was a way that enabled her to market and sell products without having to actually create or have a product to sell.  She discovered that she could write product reviews about different products, publish them on blogs and other formats, and as long as she was honest – her writing would result in sales of the products she was reviewing.

As a writer, she wrote primarily out of enjoyment and for some extra cash – but it wasn’t until her mother passed away in 2004 that she needed to turn that hobby into a successful business.  Once she put her mind and focus to it completely, she was able to uncover the four techniques she uses to put her websites and blogs in the first page of Google in a short period of time:  press releases, social bookmarking sites, RSS feeds and blogs.
