I was lucky enough to interview Tracy Monteforte as part of our regular teleseminar series. Here are a few interesting things about Tracy’s life I would like to share with you.
Tracy has been in network marketing for a total of 21 years. She joined the networking marketing business model when her eldest son was only 6 months old. Prior to having her first child Tracy was a math’s and science school teacher.
At the time school was to resume Tracy found herself having to make a really huge decision about whether or not she returned to her teaching position and put her 2 and half month old baby into day care or whether she remained at home to enjoy the benefits of motherhood and seeing her child reach all those wonderful milestones a child makes.
Tracy was very fortunate because 15 months prior to her having her first child her sister had joined a network marketing company and so that paved the way for her to be able to enter the industry of network marketing because she had the benefit of her sister’s experience. Within 10 months Tracy was earning more money from her network marketing position that she had in the entire time she had been involved in teaching. Within 10 months of joining her networking marketing company Tracy won an all expenses paid trip for herself and her family. She did this by following the mentoring provided by her big sister.
In time, Tracy and her husband Pat branched out on their own, and created a marketing system that automated many of the necessary tasks associated with growing a highly successful network marketing business. They formed a company name WT Powers and began a program called ‘dialing for dollars’ which still runs today. Tracy designed a highly automated program especially designed for the network marketing industry that would allow them to never miss a prospect. Her company also does private label and individualized systems for those that want to contact her.
Through many years of hands on experience Tracy has been highly successfully in all that she has turned her focus and attention to. Within her ‘dialing for dollars’ program she literally takes her clients through the process of calling a prospect right through the entire process, showing her students first hand, how you take a cold prospect and turn them into a follow up.
Her belief is that you have to believe in something before you even see it and that you are not asking ‘favors’ of people when network marketing, but rather, ‘offering them an opportunity’.
