New Mastermind Call Started Today

After Christina’s call I stayed to faciliate a members mastermind call for another hour. We covered a huge range of topics including membership sites, autoresponders, taking risks and getting out of your comfort zone, joint ventures, and I shared a story about a  campaign I am running at http://www.landscapephotoschool.com. A story of frustration, failure, persistence and then success. My Question To You

Do you use 1 Shopping Cart to run your business? What do you think of it. Do you have any tips to share?

If you’ve been to any of our tele-seminars yet you’ll have a good idea that in order to build a list of potential customers you have to provide great value content and advice first. One of the best ways to do this is to write a book. If you write a book  that has great content that you can give away for free - people will pass it onto others and spread your fame. This is the concept behind viral marketing.

Spreading The Virus

As long as you have lots of links to your web site in the book, and a reason for people to visit your site to get even more great information - then your free book will eventually create you a wonderful list of targeted prospects. If you make your book a downloadable digital book (as a PDF) then not only is it easy to pass around, it is also dirt cheap for you to distribute.

Okay, okay that all sounds good I hear you say, BUT…….. It will take me for ever to write a book and I have no idea how to produce it and who will I get to pass it on if I don’t have a list yet? That’s where we come in!

First Members’ Collaborative E-Book

We will help you to create a viral e-book and help to spread the word with the first Wonderful Web Women Group Book.

Here’s the plan. All Gold members are invited to contribute an original article (never seen anywhere else) on the topic of the book. You can include a biography and link to your web site as well as a special offer to readers of the book. The offer must be genuine and valuable enough for people to visit your site and submit their contact details in order to access the offer. This is how you build your list.

The great content and the excellent offers will make the book viral.

All members, free and gold will have give-away rights to the book as a gift to their list (or just friends). We can all work together to suggest ways to make the book go viral as together we will come up with some great ideas that we would rarely come up with on our own.

Share Your Ideas

I suggest we aim to have the book ready to “publish” at the beginning of the new year. It is a logical time to give a gift and a way of inspiring people to make the most of the new year.

Tell me what you think.

We need a title and topic to start with. How about “Getting Your Head Straight For 2008″ with different ideas on how to create your own success in the new year. The target market should probably be women - though I’m open to your ideas.

So tell me:

• What would be a good topic
• Ideas for a title
• Ideas on promoting and helping other to build our lists
• What do you think you can contribute
• There is also a need for proof reading and graphic design so if you think this is an area you can contribute you get to promote this in the book as well.

This should be fun and the first of what I hope will be many collaborative projects.

When I started Wonderful Web Women (all of one month ago) I offered to stay on the line after each expert interview to answer any questions. My initial idea was that people may have questions about membership and may need help with burning internet marketing questions. Well it may have started out  that way but what I didn’t count on was what women do best. We are naturals at sharing our experiences!

Each week the informal discussion after each tele-seminar has grown. Last week it was awesome! For over an hour I led what became a true group mastermind call. Members from around the world shared advice, contacts and got answers to burning questions. Believe it or not, as a result of this informal mastermind for just 60 minutes, I know of at least 2 joint ventures that were formed. I know because I received emails with the details!

Wonderful Web Women you are amazing. This informal discussion is so valuable that I have decided to elevate it to the status it deserves. Now, after every teleseminar, I will stay on the line for another 30 to 60 minutes to faciliate a  free coaching mastermind call. There will be no set topic so feel free to raise whatever your most burning question is. And if you can’t be on the telephone, just submit your question through the webinar page and I will ask your question for you.

This promises to be a very valauable part of our membership which is open to all members - free and Gold. If you can’t be there on the call I will record these sessions and upload them to the member’s area the same day so Gold members can listen in at a time that suits them (I’ll put a summary for you of the topics covered so you can decide which interview to listen to first!).

So my question to you is: What should I call these sessions? Maybe Wonderful Member Masterminds?

Well here is the first post of what will be many for the new Wonderful Web Women blog. I’m really looking forward to this becoming a dynamic place where we can all learn from each other and inspire each other to become the best we can be. Lofty goals? I receive so many emails from the new members of Wonderful Web Women with inspiring stories and ideas that I really want to share with you. Many of our members have projects already happening, others are just starting out and others are absolutely new to all of this internet stuff. The one thing that you all have in common is that you are entrepreneurial and are keen to take action on what you learn to create success (how ever you define that for yourself).

I welcome you all and invite you to return here often to share with us what you are doing, pass on tips and ideas and discuss what we learn from each of the featured Wonderful Web Women we interview each week. So my first big question to you is…..what sort of things would you like to see discussed here on this blog. Go on, have your say
