I had quite a few people I could ask to interview me as part of our Wonderful Web Women series. Friends, colleagues, even our featured speakers were the obvious choice. But then I thought “Wonderful Web Women is all about mentorship and helping each other get ahead – why not offer this opportunity to one of our gold members?”

Introducing Kate
Kate Sanner is an offline and online entrepreneur. For nearly the past two decades, Kate has been a psychotherapist with children and adult women and is the co-founder and co-owner of Access Counseling Services of Columbia, LLC (www.accesscounselingservices.com). Out of her work with women in therapy, Kate co-created workshops for women who were asking the question “What’s Next for My Life?” And from these workshops, the idea for Vivacity (www.vivacitynow.com), of which Kate is the CEO and founder, was born.

Rosalind Gardner Affiliate Marketing Tips For Wonderful Web Women

(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...What a great call with Rosalind Gardner today. Ros is an absolute legend at affiliate marketing. If you’re not sure what affiliate marketing is, it is basically being rewarded for recommending a product to people you know. That’s it in the most basic form.
The skill is in 3 things:
- knowing which products to promote
- getting enough people to your website to see your recommendations
- developing a relationship and trust with the people who do visit your site
Rosalind is the author of The Super Affiliate Handbook which is updated constantly and been the “bible” of affiliate marketing for years. It only costs $47 and you can get it here.

Recommendations from Ros
I must admit I felt an incredible sense of relief and calm after talking to Ros. Her big message was to keep it simple and build on what women do best – build relationships. She concentrates on 2 methods to get traffic:
- Pay Per Click Adwords (Google Adwords, Yahoo and MSN)
- Blogging
Of course, there are tricks to this and Ros covers this in detail in her book. I have a few resources to get you started on mastering both of these skills:
1. Pay Per Click
Here is a bit of shameless self promotion. I’m really good at Google Adwords but I don’t really enjoy doing it. I got tired of people asking me (even though they paid me) to set up Google Adwords campaigns for them so I created a step-by-step home study course that even someone totally new to the concept could pick up and master quickly.
