Become an expert author on ezinearticles.com – with a measure of luck.

Well here is my update on my challenge to reach Expert Author status on http://www.ezinearticles.com . This is the challenge I made after learning so much from our call with Kristi Sayles

I did it. But not the way I thought I would!

I did it! I am now considered an expert writer by www.ezinearticles.com. But I have an admission to make – things didn’t go the way they were meant to go.
Let me explain. 31st October and I was yet to submit 10 articles to reach my expert status. How embarrassing. That’s what happens when you make a public challenge – you have to do it or be embarrassed. No problem I thought. I will have a big night and submit the next nine articles in one go. They are mostly written anyway, I just have to finish them off and submit. But  there was something I didn’t count on.

Saved at the 11th Hour
I submitted  my first article a few days before the deadline and the email I received told me it would take a few days before it was approved. When the day of the deadline arrived I still had not received the approval. Oh no, what to do?
But here’s the good news. At the 11th hour I received an email approving my article and congratulating me on achieving expert author status after only 1 article!

I have emailed them to ask them why I was approved after only 1 article though when I emailed Kristi to tell her, her response was “must have been a great article”. You be the judge.
