What an amazing response we had today on our call with Judith Shevern on soft sell marketing. I received so many wonderful messages through the webcast page today that I would really like to share with you as I am sure you will relate to them. Judith really struck a nerve with her message and the first of a kind conference she and her husband Jim are holding next February is bound to sell out as they are really filling a huge gap in the approach to Internet Marketing.

In the next 2 posts I will share the gob-smacking offer Judith has extended to Wonderful Web Women and also some key points from our call today. But first, let me share some stories.

A wonderful talk Judith – absolutely inspiring. There is room for all sorts of ways of communicating – after all the net is simply a communication network and communication is the word not to forget.

Judith, A wonderful talk and very uplifting. Just because the internet is technical doesnt mean it cant have heart. It is after all just a medium of communicatication and that is what brings us all together.It is such a powrful medium for sharing and reaching out.  Linda


my personal take on this is – Its’ your willingness to be contributory in the lives that others that brings the greatest abundance into our lives…so share who you are with others and they will be attracted to your energy and your willingness to share with them in turn will enrich your live in immeasureable ways.  Ann Oliveri

I decided a long time ago that I wouldn’t attend any of the internet marketing seminar because of the hard sell presentations. After being on the call today, my mindset or paradigm has been challenged to change.  Kim


I didn’t only feel that my needs were not being met at the hard sell events, I felt violated, nearly ill at some times, and thought I would never succeed on the internet because I couldn’t and wouldn’t apply these tactics

If I see hard sell copy on the first contact it turns me off – I’m more likely to buy through a process of progression from one level to the next – building that relationship and trust.

    Thank you again Janet for having Judith share her knowledge and heart regarding soft selling skills. I was so inspired by the call that I changed my idea regarding the article that will go in the WWW 2008 Gold Book that will pertain to the idea of developing your soft selling skills. I’m looking forward to hearing more from Judith at the conference!

    There is a really annoying problem with your blog page. I clicked to vote in your poll and it opened up TWO sales windows at once. I thought this was a mistake and tried again, and yep, it happened again.

    Finally the results of the voting appeared.

    Then I clicked on “Select Category” under Categories and it opened up THE SAME sales page. It didn’t go where I wanted to go, which was another Category.

    I hope you can fix this because it’s a real turn off for your blog.
