The Self Esteem System of Joe Rubino
Filed under: Law of Attraction, Personal Development
You know we have been so lucky to learn from incredibly successful women in the last year. I’ve noticed something that is common to every one of them. They all emphasise the importance of “getting your head straight”. A big part of this is overcoming negative head talk that results in lack of confidence and self esteem. We all have these terrible voices to some degree and it’s something I’ve discovered you really need to consciously work on.
I’ve discovered a great free resource for you from an incredibly well respected man, Joe Rubino, who one of our members emailed me to recommend. She has been studying his program and has raved about the changes she has seen in her life. So I thought I should share this with you.
Leadership in the Wonderful Web Community
Filed under: About WWW, Members Opportunities, Personal Development
In our interview last week with Baeth Davis she mentioned the importance of finding a “tribe” to support you to be the best you can be. She gave Wonderful Web Women as an example of one of the best “tribes” she has seen (thanks Baeth). As with any community you belong to, the more you take part, the more you get out. Over the next few months we will be introducing ways that you can become more involved in our community and be recognised as a leader. Our first opportunity is for you to join us as a guest moderator of Wonderful Web Forum. What’s Involved?
- If you visit Wonderful Web Forum you will notice that we have different “sub-forums” or topic areas. There is an opportunity for 2 to 4 guest moderators per topic area
- Your responsibility is to start discussions, encourage communication by posing questions and topics to talk about and generally get your topic area buzzing.
- Your other responsibility is to keep an eye on spammers and let our “head moderator” know so they can jump on it quick.
- You will be expected to be consistently active on the forum and give real value.
What’s in it for you?
- You will be recognised as having a position of leadership and have the opportunity to demonstrate how knowledgable and/or enthusiastic you are
- The exposure you get through this process will, without fail, lead to new customers and joint venture partners
- Once you have completed your trial period of one month, you will be featured on Wonderful Web Forum in a new section called “Meet our Moderators”. This is an exclusive area for you to profile your business
- Separate forum area just for moderators to discuss ideas
Who should apply?
- You don’t need to be an expert in a topic, just enthusiastic
- Preference will be given to people who have contributed to discussions in the forum, and been helpful
- Preference will be given to gold members because you will be so much more familiar with the resources to help fellow members
How to apply?
- Please email us at this address with the subject line “forum moderator application”
- Tell us why you are interested in being a moderator
- what forum topic areas you are most interested in (you can moderate more than one)
- How often you expect you could post to the forum
- Any ideas you have to make your forum area fun
I’d love the opportunity for our team to get to know you better by working with you in the forum.
How to get great testimonials
On our Gold Members Q & A call today we discussed how to get great testimonials for your new book/ebook/product. First of all, let’s look at what makes a good testimonial.
What makes a good testimonial?
Compare these 2 testimonials.
” I loved this book. Jam packed full of really useful information and easy to read”
with
“I loved this book. After implementing just one tip from chapter 2 I gained an extra hour each day. I now have more time to spend with my young children after school each day instead of rushing to finish my work commitments. Thank you”
Can you see the difference?
The first one is glowing, but it could be for any good book.
The second one is great because it:
- tells of a measurable result from reading the book
- gives a before and after (rushed work vs time with kids)
- tells a bit about the person that another person may relate to (working mum)
How to get a good testimonial
Well first, you have to have something worth raving about but I’m going to assume you have a great book or product!
When you ask people for a testimonial, they want to help you but don’t really know what is the best thing to do. That’s why you end up with nice, but bland, testimonials. You need to give them some help.
When you ask for a testimonial, give them some guidance in the form of questions. For example:
- What was your biggest “ah ha” from the book?
- Have you implemented any of the ideas from the book?
- If you have, what did you do and what changes have happened in your life because of that action?
- If you were to refer this book to a friend, which section do you recommend they must look at? Why?
This is just to give you a few ideas. You can put these questions in an email, letter or say them on the phone. Just say, “I’d love to get your feedback on my book. Here are some questions to get you thinking.”
Who do you ask for a testimonial?
It’s great if you can get some well-known people to give you a testimonial. Send them a copy of the book, ask nicely and see if there is anyone who can introduce you so you are not going in cold. Tell them why you think they are a legend.
Apart from the well known person, you need to find as many TYPES of people as you can. By this I mean, young, old, single, has young children, has teenagers, divorced, newly married, black, white, and all shades of the rainbow. The reason for this is social proof.
People look for testimonials from people who are just like them. A 20 year old man will relate to a testimonial given by another young man, but maybe not the single mother of pre-schoolers.
For this reason, always ask for a photo to go with the testimonial so people can scan through your sales letter or testimonial page. Their eyes will be drawn to the photo of the person they most relate to.
Final Words
A good testimonial can seal the deal for you. In fact, on my business card I don’t have a description of what services I provide – I simply have my photo, my contact details, and one good testimonial that covers my main selling point. After all who are you more likely to take notice of?
The seller of a product, or someone who purchased and used the product?
I’d love to hear your tips and experiences with testimonials. Why not share them here as a comment?
Cheers
Janet
Using the 7 chakras as a model to build a high 6 figure business
Filed under: Business Skills, Featured Speakers, Law of Attraction, Personal Development
Baeth Davis is a woman who looks at business growth differently to most people. You see, she links business development and personal development together in such a way that one is impossible without the other. On our call yesterday Baeth shared with us the unique system she has used to build a high 6 figure income that allows her wonderful freedom in her lifestyle. Baeth announced the launch of a once-off year long coaching program that covers strategies for business and personal success based on the system I am about to share with you. If this sounds like a program that is perfect for you then please check it out here. This program is only being offered by Baeth’s select Joint Venture Partners so you will only be able to register through this link.

The 7 Chakra’s
The Chakra is a Sanskrit word for “wheel”. Ancient teachers believed that your body has seven spinning wheels of energy, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, that offer you lessons of soul advancement – should you choose to accept and uncover those lessons. Baeth has used this knowledge and concept to develop a system that helps you look at business, and your life from a new perspective. One with clarity, passion and profit. The diagram to the left shows you the different Chakras. Let me share with you some of the tips Baeth shared with us yesterday, based on each of the chakras.
After each tip, I also ask you a question for you to evaluate your own success in relations to the Chakra discussed. I’d love to hear your thoughts on these questions.
#1: Root Chakra – The power of the tribe
Our ‘family’ is larger than the family we grew up with. Our ‘family’ influences include the educational system, church, government and the media. The combination of beliefs we inherited from our childhood combined with these other ‘belief influencers’ encode our subconscious and program us not to stray too far from the crowd. Until this group think is exposed, our income reflects the degree to which you ‘play it safe’ rather than rocking the cradle. Even the most independent person is influenced and affected by group think. Your very own “family” may be the biggest challenge you face in implementing your success plan!
It’s important to create a ‘tribe’ that resonates with who you truly are and break free of those beliefs that cause you to conform rather than transform while still maintaining those relationships nearest and dearest to you.
Baeth used Wonderful Web Women as an example of the creation of a “New Tribe”. We have created a community where women are supported to create success on-line.
Question: Do the people you surround yourself with support your personal and business development? Where can you find new influences?
#2: Splenic Chakra – love, sex and creativity
Your comfort level with intimate relationships – with yourself, others and your creativity – directly affect your flow of income. This is the discussion you probably WON’T have in most classes on money… which is why they may be putting you to sleep! Your ability to make money and experience true freedom in every area of your life is directly related to your ability to harness your creative power and put this creative power out in to the world. It’s that simple. Folks can be riddled with issues like apathy, confusion, procrastination, broken promises and broken relationships when the lessons of the second chakra aren’t addressed.
It is necessary to break through your sex, love, and creativity issues to address the money issue. When you handle the ‘money issue,’ you begin to heal these other areas of your life.
Question: Do you feel you are free to express yourself creatively in your work and in your relationships?
# 3: Solar Plexis Chakra – self betrayal
In order to have ‘money boundaries,’ you must claim your inner power and put your self first (with compassion) so you don’t end up last.
As you transcend the limitations of group think and express more of your creativity in the world, you will encounter various tests against your own personal boundaries. How much courage, fortitude, stamina and strength do you have to honor your own identity and values? Do you know your own boundaries and stay true to your own standards?
Baeth talked about the importance of trusting your “gut instinct” in business and staying true to what you believe.
Your degree of ‘self-care’ reflects itself in your bank account. For example, do you pay yourself first or are you loyal to the demands of others at your own expense? The lessons of the third chakra teach us that we must take care of ourselves in order to take care of others. This can be difficult if you are accused of being ‘self-ish.’
It’s important to identify your values, boundaries and standards so you can avoid self-betrayal, improve paying yourself and increase your investing and savings power.
Question: Are you paying yourself first? Do you take the time to care for yourself by taking time-out, exercising and looking after your appearance?
#4: Heart Chakra – the link between making money and “following your bliss”
It is one of Baeth’s personal missions to bust the myth that says, “You must make money, THEN you can do what you love.” No, no, no! It doesn’t work that way. It’s never worked for anyone and it’s not going to work for you. When you listen to your heart, you create a heart-based relationship between your purpose and your profit. The KEY is to do what your heart craves now and get paid for your passions.
It would be immature to suggest that you simply do what you love and the money will follow. However, when you do what you love and combine that with smart money-making strategies, the puzzle is solved.
Passion + Purpose + Plan = Profit
Your heart is the key to unlocking the secret relationship between prosperity and your bliss so you can stop putting your dreams on the back burner!
Question: Close your eyes, take a deep breath and think about what really inspires you. Are you taking action on your inspiration?
#5 Throat Chakra – your core message
The “money is in the message.” You need to discover your message and get it out to a larger audience.
Your personal, passionate message is actually built into your physiology! That’s right – your very own body holds the key to what makes you call out with joy and proclaim your message far and wide.
As you’ve probably heard, in order to have a successful coaching business, theater production, art opening, or best-selling book, you must learn how to market and sell. Many people experience a stomach-churning anxiety at the prospect of selling anything, never mind selling your most treasured creations.
However, when you discover that your message IS the marketing, it turns selling into sharing!
Baeth believes everyone has a responsibility and desire to get their message out to a larger audience and help those people who can most benefit from what they have to offer.
It is essential to discover what your specific message is, the market that most needs to hear it, and how to create the perfect products and services to serve this market.
Question: Are you clear on what your key message is and how to share it?
#6 Third Eye Chakra – the transformational power of decisions
The ability to create unstoppable wealth – and we’re not just talking money here – is understanding the power of a SINGLE decision.
The sixth chakra represents your frontal cortex – the grey matter right behind your forehead. This is your ‘third eye’ – you decision-making, evolution-causing MIND. The thoughts you think are created by the experiences you encounter in all the other learning areas of the other chakras. By harnessing the power of your thoughts, and fully understanding their roots, you will never look at your thoughts in quite the same way again.
Yes, it’s true. Real wealth begins with a SINGLE decision. You need to identify this SINGLE decision and go through a step-by-step mental process required to actually make this decision and follow through with it.
In knowing how to use your mind to unlock the secrets behind your physical, emotional, financial, mental and spiritual issues, you can quickly know the root CAUSE of your issues and HOW to heal them.
Question: Are you procrastinating? Can you make a choice and move forward?
#7: Crown Chakra -connection to source energy
You may experience universal energy in the thought of God, The Universe, The Source – however it is that you define the energy that binds us together. This is the Chakra that links spirituality with everything that we have covered before.
The molecules of your body are actually held together by thought, by consciousness. When you fully embrace this concept, you realize that your physical body is a channel for energy – Universal Energy or Source Energy. The more you move out of your willful, ego-driven mind and allow yourself to be a channel for divine energy, the more you can access Universal wisdom, the source of the great ideas and inspirations that lead to endless, infinite abundance.
As Sri Bhagavan said, “The Lord has an ocean to give. Don’t come with teaspoons.”
It is important to learn how to connect to Source Energy directly, on-cue, every time. This is the lesson of “Be Here Now.” Your ability to stay in the moment puts you in the flow of creative power. You can only create from the here and now, not from the past or the future. The present moment is your point of power.
Perfecting this is linked with the concept of “The Law of Attraction” and your ability to manifest change in your life. It is also the source of those “Eureka” moments where inspiration comes that you cannot directly link with logic.
Question: Are you truly present in your day to day life? How much do you spread your attention by multi-tasking instead of truly giving your full attention to the task at hand?
As you can see, Baeth’s approach to business is quite unorthodox. That said, she is one of the most successful and cleverest business women I know. I’m really impressed with the coaching program she has put together because it is not just about “How to Do” (which it covers comprehensively) but also”How to Be”.
If this sounds like the kind of program that is perfect for you, then find out more here. Otherwise, I hope these ideas and exercises give you inspiration to make some changes in your business and life which will move you towards success.
cutting edge marketing library
Did you know that as a gold member you can access to every interview I have done since Wonderful Web Women began just over one year ago? That’s over 50 hours of interviews with the most successful women on the Internet.
A cutting edge library like this would cost you thousands of dollars if you bought them as separate products yet you get access for just $1 for the first month and $47 per month after that. How good is that?
My colleagues think I’m a bit silly but I know that not every one needs the same information at the same time. You need to have the info you need, when you need it and that is why the interviews (and transcripts, action plans and cheat sheets) are there as your resource when you join as a gold member.
If you are not a gold member yet, why not? You will not get such a great resource any where else at this price and with such a strong community to support you.
To upgrade from free to gold, simply log in and click on the link at the top to upgrade your membership.
