“You Are My Hero…” The Winners of the “Passion into Profits Challenge”
I am so inspired by all of you that took part in the challenge-congratulations!
Thanks to you it was a great success with over 109 posts on the blog, and 61 entries.
So to all of you that took action and made it happen…you are my heroes!
For those of you that didn’t get round to it in time you can still take part.
The competition is now over but you can still put your entry up and share your passion with the world (you just won’t win a prize from me).
If you haven’t created a product before it’s a great way to get started. And it’s also a great ‘get the word out’ about what you do because my blog gets tons of traffic.
In fact, I know that entrants have already been doing business with each other simply because they have promoted what they do. How good is that?
Without further ado here are the winners in the different categories:
Winners of a hand-signed, special edition copy of my international best selling book “our Internet Secrets”
1. Action taker: First Entry
Pam Brossman
Always leads by action
2. Best Description of product:
Ann Olivieri
Ann evoked emotion in describing the problem then gave curiosity enticing descriptions of the solutions on the recording
3. Best Personal Intro:
Krishna Everson (aka HealthBizMentor)
Krishna’s intro is so clear. When you read it you know who her target market is, what the benefits are she delivers and she has a call to action. Great example to model.
4. Best 2 tips:
Claire McFee
Loved the effort Claire went to when including quotes and giving really practical advice.
5. Made me Laugh
Heather Barker.
Heather kept me laughing all week with hr tweets about procrastinating, her comments on the bog about “still checking things out” and then created a product on procrastination. She even bought the domain www.procrastinationqueen.com !
Special Awards I had to add because …well….they were so good
6. “Do what ever it takes, commitment prize”
Shelley Weitenberg
Recorded her product in a public phone booth, while running out of coins, while travelling around Australia in a bus with 3 children under 5. Wow. There goes everyone’s last excuse!
7. “I’m not giving up until I get this done, tenacity prize”
Christine O’Connor
Christine’s words say it all: “It may not seem remarkable to anyone other than me, but bearing in mind that I am so resource heavy and action poor, with severe, chronic , incurable bright shiny object syndrome and lots of fear around not getting it right and not being perfect….well, it’s kind of a miracle. I have only been in Janet’s programme for two years….am I a slow learner or what!!!!”
8.” I am so out of my comfort zone, courage prize”
Natalie
Natalie shared amazing difficulties in her life this week and how with the help of wonderful friends (and Wonderful Web Women gold members) Heather Barker and Amanda Robinson she launched into an internet business at the deep end.
The Grand Prize of Life Time Membership to Wonderful Web Women
Paula Tarrant
Paula gave a great description, her intro was clear and direct to her target market. She shared great tips. Then she took it further. She used the challenge to launch a project she had been sitting on and not completing. She gave a call to action. Then even further. Everyone who joined the Challenge had the opportunity to download our gift on creating a survey (after filling in the form on the tell-a-friend page. Paula not only took action in the challenge, she also took action and followed the instructions to create her own survey.
Congratulations Paula. I love a woman of action!

Now Janet… comments on the “bog” ? lol now YOU making ME laugh!!
I am glad that I am not the only mis-speller around these parts.
Congratulations to my dear friend Natalie, what a courageous Gal you’ve been in the last week and now your being celebrated by us all here. Well done possum!
I can’t wait to teach you all to wolf whistle when we ALL get together soon.
I think a summit or retreat in needed to celebrate your 2 years Janet, how about it?
Dear Janet,
Gosh! All I could say this morning was “Wow”! when I read your email that I was the Grand Prize Winner!! Thank you so much! This is really exciting!
I am really looking forward to learning from you, getting to know you more and working with you more, as well as the other wonderful web women who are so gifted, passionate and brilliant in their own right, and learning from them, too! And, I hope whatever I can contribute will be of benefit.
There is a great quote I want to share that I heard from Andrea J. Lee some years ago, which has been an ongoing inspiration to me and kept me going even when I wasn’t sure what I thought I should do or what direction I should be going in. I hope it will inspire others to keep on keeping on when they get in a muddle too. I’m paraphrasing here, but it basically is this:
There are people in the world who can only hear what you have to say, and they can only hear it from you. How much longer are you going to keep them waiting???
Ladies, Janet’s passion is to assist us in not keeping our “people” waiting any longer. Let’s get to it!!
Love and Blessings,
Paula
I’m doing a happy dance here this morning Janet. So looking forward to getting my own special edition copy of your bestselling book. WOW.

congrats to everyone for having a go – that’s what it’s all about.. having a go and ironing things out along the way – Better to have something to iron – and wear! – than nothing at all!!

Congratulations to all the winners. Even though I was not a prize winner, I wallow in the praise that Janet thinks we’re all awesome! I certainly learnt how to break through the “maybe I’m not good enough” barrier to record my call (How to get cat urine smells out of your carpet).
I was also inspired to tweak my website, by offering all participants in Janet’s challenge a half price transcribing tariff for their audio. Contact me on info@secretarybird.net.
Well done to all and look forward to connecting and hearing about your projects.
Love, peace and abundance,
Fiona xx
Congrats to the winners!
