Well yes I snuck in by the hair of chin chin chin. Well done everyone who managed to get their’s up there.
However, I had many technical challenges which I am still dealing with. I recorded 3 sessions and cannot find any number to post here. I have put my number up above, but have discovered this does not take me anywhere.
Also my blurb has gone into cyberspace, aah well, that’s what happens when trying to multi task!!
As I said in my recording, ‘A kite rises highest againsta a strong wind.’ There will be great things learnt from this mishap!

TIPS ON CREATING AUDIO PRODUCTS – FROM EXPERIENCE
Don’t leave it to the last day. I started my recordings at 10pm thinking that all would work out exactly as planned. It didn’t. At just after midnight last night I gave up and vowed to return this morning. I did and here it is.
Read the instructions for the conference call system so that you don’t spend hours recording and finding out it didn’t record. I’m embarrased to say that I didn’t and ended up with 3 recordings of nothing.
When you wake up the next day to record again because it didn’t work out the night before, trust that the Universe knew what it was doing playing with you last night. Todays recording is even better than it would have been last night because I took some time in the cold light of the day to re-read and make some small changes and get my energy right before recording.
Janet, I cannot thank you enough for this ever so gentle kick up the bum. Yay I’ve done it now and its just onwards and upwards from here.
BTW, did someone mention that you were now a bestselling author : ). Well big congratulations to you. You absolutely deserve it.
I realised that at the second attempt my call wasn’t recorded either! So I have learnt that I need to get a better grip on technology one step at a time – faster internet would assist greatly. But practise does make perfect and I look forward to recording for the third time (LOL)!

Hello Janet,
Thank you for the challenge. It was just what I needed at this time. And this might sound strange but I’m so glad that I didn’t win. Whilst your lifetime membership would be wonderful, I learned a lot more by not winning.
When I was teaching I used to tell my students that the ones with the poor grades are the lucky ones because they will be able to learn where they fell short. And so next time they’ll be able to improve those areas and grow.
By contrast, it’s more than likely that the ones with top marks won’t consciously know why they did so well and so are less likely to be able to repeat it.
After your results came out I suddenly thought … Well I won’t tell you what I thought but I am very consciously aware of what I must not do again.
So as you said. We are all winners.

Hi everyone,
I’m just posting this in the hope that it may encourage someone
out there who is in the position I was in until a few days ago.
After two and a half years of seriously studying internet marketing
I was getting to the point where I was thinking that this wasn’t for
me. I have attended so many networking events, and spent so much
money on various trainings and programmes, without seemingly
moving forward an inch. Some of the trainings and programmes
were a total waste of money and didn’t deliver anything like what
was promised. Some of them were good. But I got myself into such
a state of overwhelm that even the good ones went by the bye. I have
a collection a mile high of CDs, Manuals, MP3 recordings, typed notes
and handwritten notes still waiting to be typed . In my wildest dreams
I can’t imagine getting through all this stuff in this lifetime or possibly
even the next! I’m sure many of you can relate to this.
Some days I would be so determined to make things happen, but I
would always somehow manage to get off track and distract myself
with all manner of things.
With every challenge that Janet presented, I was definitely going to be
a contributor ‘this time,’ but it never happened. And each time this
happened (or rather didn’t happen) my confidence waned a little more
and I became more and more discouraged.
And then the most recent challenge – Passion to Profits! I was definitely
doing this one. So rather than try and make it bigger than Ben Hur….
my usual form, I decided I would do something very short and simple.
It was very funny and I just introduced myself with a few sentences and
then recorded this baby laughing and laughing. It didn’t work. Oh no….
this little voice started to tell me ‘you stuffed up again – forget it’ But
somehow this time was different. There was another little voice telling me
that if I didn’t do something different then I was never going to get off of
this goddamn merry-go-round, and that what I so badly wanted to change
I was going to be stuck with forever. OMG, as if the pain wasn’t bad enough
already, I was going to have to live with it forever.
I already had an idea for an interview, but told myself that I totally didn’t have
the confidence or expertise to pull this off. And mostly I thought, after having
checked out a couple of the great entries that had already gone up, I could never
write a compelling description, and definitely not a bio. Everyone was doing
all this amazing stuff!!
And so, rather than totally abandoning the project, I decided to just record
something myself, which I actually did twice, and both times when I went back….
nothing!! I had no idea what I was doing wrong. But, this time I gave it one more
try and it worked. I was just so elated, and in the meantime, Janet had sent out
“Does the Universe Believe You?” That did it. I knew that I had done nothing to
inspire the Universe to be on my side, and that if I had to brand myself it would
have to be something like “the Excuse Queen.” I had all these goals and
dreams that were never going to come to fruition and that thought was
unbearable.
And so, I organised my interview with around 20 minutes prep, which was all the
time I had available. I knew that if it was a total disaster, well, I wouldn’t have to
upload it to Janet’s blog, so nobody would know and that made it a kind of a no- brainer.
I had a kind of script and some relevant questions written out and off we went.
I used to listen to Janet on my MP3 and think that I would never know when to
interject with a question, or what question would be appropriate to interject with.
But you know, once I got going, it just seemed to flow, and it even became fun. It
may not have been award winning quality, but it was okay…it was presentable. I can refine it later.
So then I went back to my notes and expanded on them, and my product
description was done. Then for my bio. I just typed out what I had done and did a bit of editing, and without ego and worrying about what anyone would think, I just went for it.
I can’t describe the feeling of elation after having completed this. It wasn’t even that hard. I just needed to get out of my comfort zone and be a little bit vulnerable. I have the most amazing collection of MP3s downloaded from all over the internet…what a buzz it was to download my very own.
I now feel confident and inspired to action. That first step is the hardest.
All of this was so exciting, and then I received Janet’s email announcing the winners of the Challenge, and to my absolute surprise and delight, I was one of them! What an unexpected bonus.
And since then, lots of things have just been falling into place.
So bite the bullet, believe in yourself and just do it…..the rewards are so worth it and so are you!!

I will add one thing…if you’ve taken this challenge, or if you haven’t yet but have some notes you’ve written to try to kick start things, please take the time to look over what you’ve worked on with a fresh perspective. While I was happy that I finally took the steps and completed this fantastic task without wrapping a bunch of ‘over thinking’ around it, I still felt like ‘less’-than the others, than anyone.
Then I forced myself to take one more look and was so pleased and surprised that I really did have something to say-in my own way, my own words and style. It was a boost; a much needed jolt of self confidence and renewed energy. We each have something wonderful to share with the world. What matters is that we step out and do so, no matter how much a part of us wants to hold back.
