Step 1: Open a free account at http://www.freeconferencecalling.com
This is the next page you will see. Note your unique conference code. This is important
Log in to see your account
Use your conference code and host code as your username and password
Download the PDF to explain how to use the service
Step 2:. Make your recording
NB: The free conference number is based in the US (no comparable service in Australia yet). So go to your local newsagents, buy an International Calling Card (cheap) then use this to ring the US. It costs about $1 or $2 to call for an hour.
Record Via Phone only
Note the number you can press on your phone to record your product via phone controls
To make a recording, ring the number you were given when you opened your account. Use the conference code and host code to access your own line.
To start recording, simply press 5* on your phone
OR control your recording through the web interface
Log in and click on the “manage your calls”
– press record
You still ring the number on your phone to make the recording.
Step 3: Make your recording so other people can access it
Go to the web dashboard and click to review your recording
Make it so the status is PUBLIC. This means other people can listen to it
I also recommend you download the recording to your computer if you wish to keep it to use later on your web site
Give your call a description
To let other people listen to your call you simply send them to
www.freeconferencecalling.com
ask them to click on the button at the bottom right of the page to listen to a recording
They will need to know your conference code, so they can find your recordings
This is what they will see when they log in
That’s it! Pretty easy isn’t it?

Hi Janet,
Help I just did my conference call and didn’t record it. AHHHHHH. Good practice. Now when I get to my conference call and enter my host number then press 5* it asks me to enter the phone number I would like to call. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong. By the way this is great Thanks
Wow Lisa that’s a weird one I haven’t heard of before but I see you have submitted your entry (congrats by the way) so you must have figured it out.
I wonder if there was confusion when using an international calling card?
My tip when technology throws a curve ball….. breathe deep, think calm thoughts. You can’t fight it. Technology will ALWAYS win.
