Okay. Are you an action taker or an action watcher?
Carrie Wilkerson, a.k.a. The Barefoot Executive is certainly a woman who takes action! On our interview today Carrie challenged us (including me) to create a video and add it to Youtube within the next 7 days.
And to encourage us to do so, she has offered gifts to everyone who follows the rules below and has also gifted us all free “how to” videos to help us take action.
So here’s the rules of the challenge. Are you up for it?
The Wonderful Web Video Challenge
1. Create a short and sweet video (it doesn’t have to perfect. It just has to be done!)
2. In the video introduce yourself, tell us what is unique about what you do ( why she should visit your site) and if you have a website, tell us the url. We want this video to help you and your business
2. Upload the video to YouTube
3. When you add in your keywords in the description you MUST put the following keywords: wonderful web women, barefoot executive, mr video
4. Let us know. You can leave a comment here on this blog post with a link to your video, send us a message through twitter @janetbeckers or @barefoot_exec or @askmrvideo
Why Take on The Challenge?
1. Carrie and Mr Video will send you a surprise gift
2. We will all include links to your video in our newsletters / blogs etc
3. It will make you take action. Once you’ve done this the next one will be easier
4. It will be fun

I thought I would do something a little different since I use video a lot already. It shows you how you can use video in a different format and for different purposes. I hope you like it and I hope people who watch it can be inspired to use video for so much more.

Hey Janet! I took the video challenge….and trust me, it ain’t pretty! But I did it and thanks for initiating the challenge. I’m a singer and speaker and I thought I would sing a jingle I wrote in the intro. Can you believe I waited MONTHS to do a vid because my jingle wasn’t “perfect”?? I let great be the enemy of good.
