One of the biggest reasons for failing in business is not taking the time to really get to know your target market. It would say it is the most important thing you need to do and yet it is the one thing I see most people cut corners on in their enthusiasm to take action on their great product or business idea.
Slow down and take a little time to research. As well as looking at numbers, such as how many people are searching on your topic in Google, you want to try and get inside your customer’s head. You want to know what they think about and talk about on your topic. What are their biggest frustrations?
