Dana: In this segment, we will be speaking to our very own rising star, and today, I would like to introduce you to Alisse Bradley.  Alisse, welcome to our call.

Alisse: Thanks Dana, thanks so much for having me.

Dana: Oh we are thrilled and very excited to know a little bit more about you and what you do for business.  So, if you could let’s just take a couple of minutes and share with our listeners more about you and what you do?

Alisse: Okay Dana, I am a speaker.  I have spoken internationally.  I am, this year, the author of the Feng Shui series.  So, this year, I actually wrote 3 books.  So, it’s really been a wonderful journey and an interesting year for me, and I am a prosperity coach.  And what is unique about my coaching, is it’s a combined coaching, where I have taken my background, which is Feng Shui, astrology and mental mastery and study in neurolinguistic programming, and I have combined it with a real practical business coaching model.  So that’s what I spend my time doing – also I am the mother of four children, so I have other things to do in my spare time, and I am a partner of my husband in his business as well, so balance is definitely a big part of my life.  But what I am most excited about is this year –  this sort of came from writing the Feng Shui Secrets series – was the decision to get online and I have just put together my new website, which is fengshui-thesecrets.com.

Dana: How nice.  Now I have to say, you are one incredible woman.  You just did 3 books within a course of a year?

Alisse: Yes.

Dana: Three….and you have four children.  Well, my children are already grown and I am still trying to complete my first book.  So, wow, you have been completely a successful woman, that’s for sure.

Alisse: Yes Dana, it has been an incredible year because the interesting part about my children is this year, they are actually at 4 different schools.  Two of them are finishing, and two of them are starting in school.  So they are in 4 schools, so this has been one heck of a year.

Dana: Wow!  Now you just earned. You already had my respect but, you got it now.  That’s amazing!  What I get is that you are so talented and you really offer so much to those who follow you.  So, I am curious about how you were first introduced to Janet Beckers and our wonderful web community.

Alisse: Janet and I were both speakers at the Accelerating Business function which was down in Sydney.  So that’s when I first met Janet and I was very fortunate;  I was able to spend some time with her in the back room, between speaking.  I was very interested in Janet’s model.  And for me, the online thing was a little bit out of my understanding, but I really did want to go there. With seeing the potential, with me being so busy and having so many things to do with my life, online was just such a great way to be able to be, do more of what I do.   And be able to share it with more people.  So Janet’s model was extremely interesting.

Dana: Well, I know, and because of the relationship you have had with Janet and your interest, you also became a member of Wonderful Web Women didn’t you?

Alisse: Absolutely I did.  I did become a member.

Dana: So you have access to all the training calls and the information and you know, as one of our interviewers said the other day, it’s so funny because she said it’s like her own encyclopedia.  She can go to the resource center of  Wonderful Web Women and really get anything she needs to grow her online business.

Alisse: Absolutely, absolutely.  What I love the most about what Janet offers, especially for me, because I would call myself extremely technologically challenged.  I’m very badly technologically challenged but I love that Janet makes it very simple and I find it really easy.  You know to me it’s an A-Z process and I can follow what she is teaching me and I can break it down and I can do it.

Dana: Yeah, that’s so true for me too, because technology isn’t always my friend that’s for sure.  So over the period of time that you have been a member, involved in so many calls and trainings, you have obviously attended the live event with Janet.  Is there anything in particular that really stands out in your mind that has really made a difference, in your life, in your business moving forward?

Alisse: Yeah.  Absolutely.  One of the biggest things, initially, that came through for me from working with Janet, is she had an interview with a lady named Baeth Davis, and Baeth reads palms; she is a hand analyst.  For me it was a real reinforcement, because what I do is quite left field, I suppose.  I understand that it’s becoming more and more something that people are aware of, but it’s a little bit of a different way to look at things.  And when I realized that someone like Baeth Davis could do such a wonderful job and make such an incredible impact, doing something which is in line my sort of modality, a hand analyst.  It really gave me the confidence to move forward.  And to make this, like really get serious with this, and see my potential, that I could make it something that could be of huge benefit to people who are serious about business, not just people who have just a little hobby on the side.  That was a very, very significant call, interview that I have listened to and since then I have done more work with Baeth.  And the second very significant couple that I have learned a lot from is Andrew and Daryl Grant.  They were probably a fairly early call.

Dana: Yes

Alisse: I have my program initially Janet sent through with the iRiver to listen to, and I do my walking and I listen to another interview.  And yeah, Andrew and Daryl Grant, with their selling their E-Books online.  Because I have written an E-Book.  Again, it gave me the step by step and it gave me the faith to okay lets get these E-Books up online, and they have been incredibly helpful to me as well.

Dana: Well thank you for that Alisse.  I think sometimes, we don’t give enough credit to, you know, you say you listen to that while you are walking.  It’s just that we know all about the neuropathways and how  it really starts seeding in our brain and pushing us towards higher levels of achievement, we probably never thought we could achieve before.  And how impactful that the call with Baeth was, and then of course, Daryl Grant.  It’s just, it’s amazing.  It’s really exciting that Janet’s community is really having a very big impact in other women’s lives, and men for that matter.

Alisse: Yeah, absolutely, and what I love the most is, with Janet, it is so diverse, there is so many different, amazing people that she is bringing together, and you know, like I just love  that’s my daily routine is to jump up and go for that walk, listen, and I get so much from each different person that Janet interviews. It really helps me during my day.  When I get in and start working, I’ve got fresh ideas and I have always got a fresh idea.

Dana: Oh that’s wonderful.  If you’re probably not too careful, you’ll probably end up walking 10 miles.  ‘Cause you’ll be so be encouraged.

Alisse: Absolutely, absolutely.

Dana: Now are there any other tips that you would like to share to our listeners.  Really, that you have been able to achieve or take part in as a result of being a Wonderful Web Women member?

Alisse: Yeah. Like I said earlier, the thing that appeals to me most is how simple it is to follow.  Initially looking at going online, I could always see the potential.  The potential to make income, for me one of the things that is so wonderful is not having to repeat yourself.  As a coach, you know, you are tending to repeat yourself and repeat yourself and its’ so wonderful to get to learn to make products where you are not repeating yourself.  Where you can actually get that product, get it done once and then get it out to as many people as possible.  So you can actually share that message.  That’s such a great idea.  And it’s a great way to create income.  It is easier income for yourself that doesn’t demand your time.  And for my life, the honest truth is, time is the most valuable commodity that I have.  So it is so important to me to be able to still do what I love, still share my message, still create income, but still be able to have my time and my balance.  So, this online model is wonderful.  But for someone who doesn’t have that experience, and I’m not sure that my mind quite works in that real technological way, sometimes, it needs to be simple and with Janet it’s clear, it’s simple.  She breaks it down so nicely.  She’s a list girl, which I just love the list.  And I just think the most important thing is do not get overwhelmed by everything and to just take it one piece at a time.  And I definitely have to do that.  I have set tasks per week to get done and that’s all I set myself to do, I don’t overwhelm  myself, and each day I just set 3 tasks to do, so that I don’t get overwhelmed.  And I really resonate with  Wonderful Web Women and what that program offers me.

Dana: Oh.  Those are absolutely wonderful tips to share and really I know for most of us, it’s taking it easy.  You don’t have to learn everything all at one time and just by a simple example you have just given everyone it’s just, get that little list.  Check off the things every day that you’ve accomplished and then you can move on to the next.  So, that was wonderful, thank you so much.  And Alisse, I know we have had just a little bit of time to share your message and your inspiration with all of our listeners here.  And I am sure that there is many on the call with us right now that would love to learn more about and your Feng Shui books you have got going.  So where can they go find about more about you and your business?

Alisse: My new site.  It isn’t officially launched, however it’s up and running.  The site is actually www.fengshui-thesecrets.com.

Dana: Great.

Alisse: You can go to that site.  And the purpose and passion behind that site is to create a place, it’s an educational site, to create a place where people can go to gain any tools that are necessary.  Just to be a portal where they can go so they can find the tools they need to take the next step to basically be able to manifest more clients, more money and greater recognition of their business, using the energy-based modalities and the universal principles.  So using that little bit of magic.

Dana: Well, we know, if this wonderful woman we have on the phone, thus can do this with 4 children, attending 4 different schools and can write books.  You definitely can do this, so definitely go take a look at those resources.  And if you missed the website, it’s fengshui-thesecrets.com, and there will be a link, directly below this episode page, click on that link and that will take you directly to Alisse’s website.  And Alisse, thank you again so much for taking the time to join us today.  You just really have been such a light and inspiration to us.

Alisse: Thank you, thank you Dana.  Thank you so much for having me.  It has been a beautiful morning, it’s a beautiful day, and what a great way to start it.

Dana: Fantastic!  Well again, thanks for your time, we really do appreciate it.

Thanks for that great interview with Alisse. It came at just the right moment, as I am feeling very over whelmed right now! I loved Alisse’s tip for only doing 3 things each day. As I am still working, I’m going to set it at just one thing!

    Thanks for your extraordinary timing
    Gail

  2. I’m so pleased Alisse was able to inspire you Gail. She is such a wonderful soul and talk about an action taker! phew. It’s a great tip to only plan 3 things per day, or in your case only 1. When I first started in business I had an accountability buddy. Each week we would send an email to each other with the 3 main things we would achieve that week. Then we’d get on the phone a week later and report back. It took us nearly a year to start writing realistic goals. For the first year we seemed to always discuss why we couldn’t get done what we committed to do. So for the first year we both felt like we were failing. So one of the biggest things we did to help each other was to look at the 3 things the other person committed to do that week and email them back with a reality check.
