With only a few weeks to go until Christmas day I share with you ideas on how you can “cash in” on one of the biggest shopping seasons of the year.

    It was really funny… Gail Bennell and I were just having our Mastermind Meeting talking about how to get some extra cash over Christmas! Then I saw your email come through “How to Cash Into Christmas” right at the same time…. I can hear the twilight music…. ……..

    Anyhow, I started a few weeks ago doing a Christmas promotion to buy 5 Lessons Voucher, special offer over Christmas where I have had a really good response from those customers who live about half hour radius from me. So Once they pay for the voucher, I email them a voucher they can use.

    But what about the ones who can’t get to me? Online service… well this idea I love. “How to Improve Your Golf Over Chritmas” or “How to Beat Your Friends Over Christmas”….. my clients to upload a video of themselves on youtube with their golf shot they wish for me to critque, I’ll send back a video on a few points/drills for them to work on over that time to help them improve their game.

    People are taking time off over Christmas and will have some time to play golf… why not give them an opportunity to improve an area of their game and them actually having some time to practice over christmas.

    • Great idea Tiffany and it is such as easy thing for you to do. Just make a nice gift certificate to go with it and even post it in a nice card so they get something in their hand for Christmas. It’s also the kind of thing you can do quickly and not spend a week writing the sales letter on 🙂

    I don’t know how you manage to read my mind so well! Tiff and I were just chatting about how we could get some business over Christmas before we offer our major products next year!

    I’m planning on offering some short speech therapy consults for parents with children who are nonverbal. I wonder if that would work as a gift certificate as well?


    • Gail…I have these special mind reading gifts you know 🙂 Great idea and easy to do. You can also upsell them after their consult into your new program if you think it is appropriate for them and offer them a special discount only for them after the consult. So a lead generator while also being a valuable service. (upsell AFTER the consult, focus totally on value giving during the time they have paid for).

      If there is a book or 2 you recommend, or even a CD of you teaching etc that you could send them with the gift certificate for the consult, that would also give them something to physically put under the tree.

    I have had a nagging thought the last few weeks to make a “new year” offer of both home study courses together … with the Shifting Gears one free. Don’t know if its too much but just had the feeling to shift some energy here. A once a year offer and only available until 31/12/12. These are heavy mentoring products and also big physical products – heavy postage. Suppose the Shifting Gears could be digital but it is 15 cds … I could leave out the Money home study to be a different offer. I would love to know your thoughts…
