#248 [Web TV] How To Get S#*t Done

Last week I spent 3 days with a handful of my closest clients, in a great venue literally ON the beach, focusing on GSD (our in-house term for Get Shit Done). Think shooting videos, setting up funnels, writing briefs for outsources, writing auto-responders, finishing e-books, mapping out a web structure etc.

Now, not everyone can get to spend 3 days with me facilitating and working closely with you… but that doesn’t mean you can’t organise your own CSD days.

In less than 3 minutes, in this week’s video I show you how to organise concentrated productivity days and what you need to have in place to make it work for you.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

P.S. Do you have a friend or colleague who has a similar challenge? If so, pass this video to them.

Hello and welcome! Janet Beckers here with your Wonderful Web TV tip of the week.

Today let’s talk about getting shit done. Now, the reason I’m saying this is I just spent three days last week with my top clients, just a handful of them in a beautiful place right on the beach, close to my home, were for three days we focused on getting stuff done in the business, with my guidance. One of the big things that they were saying was “You know what? I’m so busy in my business, I’ve got so many things that I have to get done, people who need me, that coming down here I was thinking “I haven’t got time for this”. But once I’ve been able to dedicate a certain time to just getting these things done that I know are going to simplify my business and are going to result in much greater income, once I’m in a place where I can do that, I get so much done and the freeing up of the energy is incredible.” So this is what I’m asking you to do.

You may not be part of a program such as ones that I have, where I will be guiding you through that. But that does not mean that you have to try to fit all of these little things that you want to get done around the busyness of your business. So my challenge to you, is to schedule into your calendar, either a whole day, or maybe two days or three days, that might mean that you have to go somewhere that is outside of your business. You might need to go and rent an Airbnb for a few days, where you can set yourself up and you totally focus on getting all this stuff done. It will make such a huge difference to you being able to free up your energy and you don’t any longer have to be focusing on this big list of things you need to do.

So I’d love to hear from you. Does this work for you? Would the idea of being able to get completely away from every other demand and distraction in your life, whether it’s within your business or whether it’s within your home life and your other responsibilities that are meaning that you can’t focus? Maybe this is the solution that you need.

Have you done this? Have you taken a good shit done sabbatical? Have you taken control yourself and just gone on your own or perhaps gone with a couple of colleagues or maybe you need to be part of a program where that is facilitated for you? Either way I’d love to hear from you. Have you done this? And how did that work?

And if you have a friend who is constantly feeling overwhelmed with not being able to get all this stuff done, pass this onto them. This may just be the one thing that they need that’s going to unblock them so they can start moving forward. Okay? Bye!
