What a motivating coaching call today. I promised to stay on the call until all your questions were answered and 2.5 hours later we finally finished! What an enthusiastic and inspiring bunch you all are.

Our aim through this event is twofold:

1. to help our members grow their lists (the lifeblood of your business)
2. to learn heaps

So here’s how we intend to do this.

• As well as all the benefits listed on the giveaway page, please use the forum (www.wonderfulwebforum.com) as much as possible. We visit there every day to answer your questions and share ideas.
• We will also be running another coaching call just for GOLD members. This is a question and answer call specifically to help you create your product.

Transparency big time

• Contributors get unusual access to all our stats.
• You’ll know how many sign ups we get, how many sales, who refers the most, which product is most popular. This kind of transparency is unheard of in an industry full of hype (you know the drill “10,000 sign ups today and you’re a loser for only referring 50″)
• You’ll be able to watch in real life how our team work gives results. Hey this is a first for me as well so I’m laying myself bare here

Today we launched (well pre-launched really) the very first Wonderful Web Give away project. A few weeks ago I survey all of the members of Wonderful Web Women to ask you what you biggest frustrations are and how we can help you create success on the Internet. One of the biggest frustrations people face is starting a mailing list and getting traffic to your site.

So we’re doing something about it. I invite you to join  us as a contributor to this project so we can help you grow your mailing list. But we are doing more than simply inviting you. We have also set up ways to help you join us. So if you have no list, no product and no idea, we can help you. Read on to get all the details. I’ve put everything in point form to make it easy for you to get the facts without reading too much

What is a Give away event?

• Dozens, or even hundreds of people contribute a product as a gift to a give-away project site. In order for people to receive each gift, they need to subscribe to the contributor’s mailing list. Each contributor sends traffic to the site so every contributor benefits from the mailing list of each other contributor (also known as Joint Venture Partner or JV Partner).
• You can see a flow chart I have created that tells you how the process works, what you need to do to take part and how you build your list. Let me know what you think of it. I love flow charts.

Details of the Wonderful Web Giveaway

• Launch Date: June 19th 2008, Sydney time
• Date you need to have your contribution in: June 10th, Sydney time
• How long you have to prepare: About 6 or 7 weeks
• Web site url: www.WonderfulWebGiveaway2008.com (The web site is not live yet)
• Who can join?: Free and Gold members of Wonderful Web Women, male and female
• Who else can join?: we will also invite other JV partners when the site goes live in a couple of weeks. The more JV partners the bigger your list will be.
• What is the theme?: Tools to help you create success in all parts of your life (business, personal, health, finances, family etc)
• Must your gifts be your own work?: Please don’t submit products that are available everywhere. You are not doing yourself a favour. You can create your own product or edit and adapt a product you have “private label rights to”. This means you have permission to change the original product and put your own name on it. If you do gift a product that you just resell rights to, please make sure it is not everywhere on the net. You will not get many people joining your list.
• Can you use the “Law of Attraction in Action” publication as your gift?: Not for this giveaway (we would have too many). This is a great book to use in  other giveaways though)

How Can We Help You?

• Stephanie Mulac, veteran of many giveaway projects is acting as our consultant on this project (thanks Stephanie, we love you).
• You can purchase her excellent product which has  every thing you need to take part in a give-away project if you have no list, no product and no idea! It is very reasonably priced.
• All gold members and also purchasers of Stephanie’s product, are invited to an open question and answer session in about 2 weeks (date to be confirmed). This is a special gift from Stephanie to our members (thanks again Stephanie).
• I will hold another open question and answer session before the project is launched for gold members to help you get your product and offer ready.

Give away events are one of the fastest ways to grow a list when you are first starting out. In fact it is a great way to grow your list even if you have a great list already. It can be a bit confusing to know how the whole process works so i have created a flow chart for you. You can see that it is colour coded to help you see at a glance what things the event organiser will do, what web pages you need to create and what email steps you need to set up. You can also see links to resources to help you set this up quickly, even if you have no product, no web site and no idea!

Steps To Build A List With   A Give-Away Event (see colour key below)

Step1: Traffic to Give-Away Site Lots of Joint Venture Partners (most of them gift contributors)   Email their lists and send them to the GiveAway site www.WonderfulWebGiveaway2008.com
Step 2: Visitors Join Give Away Site Visitors to the site join for   free and get a username and password so they can return at any time and   get their gifts (People who   sign up here are automatically joined to the Giveaway Organisers list)
Step 3: Visitor Clicks to Gets More Info On A Gift The gift contributor has submitted an image and brief description of   the gift. They also provide a link to the web page with more details.   If the visitor is interested they click on the link and go to that contributor’s   web site
Step 4: Squeeze Page This page has details about the product (only one page needed) and an   opt in form so you can collect their name and email
Step 5: Visitor Joins Your Mailing List When the visitor fills   out the opt in form, they are added to your email autoresponder program. We recommend Aweber
Step 6: Thank you Page This is the page the visitor is taken to as soon as they give their contact   details. They do not have access to the product yet. This page tells them   to go and confirm their email address so you can send them the details   to download your product. You can also put a link here to a special offer to a product you have,   or even an affiliate link.
Step 7: Visitor Confirms Email Address Visitor goes to email   inbox and clicks on a link in an email your auto responder program has   automatically sent them. Now you can be sure you have a real email address.   This is called a double opt-in.
Step 8: Download Page This is the page   your visitor goes to as soon as they confirm their email address. This   is where they can download your gift to them. You also send the link   to this page in the very first email you send them after they have confirmed   their email address. This email is send out automatically. You just write   it once and it will be sent to every new subscriber.
Step 9: Build Relationships and Make Money Now you have a list of subscribers you can start to build a relationship   with them. There are heaps of ideas and proven strategies available within   the Wonderful Web Women Gold Members Area to help you do this well.

Today on our free webinar I covered in detail how you can use our unique publication to grow your own internet (and also off-line) business. The recording will be available for all members in the free audios section (under teleseminars link on the left) of the members area in a few hours. The transcripts, cheat sheets and action plan will also be there in a week or so. Here are just a few of the ideas we covered:

If you have no web site, no list and don’t expect to get a web site for a while

1. At a networking event offer to send a link to a free gift valued at $47  that will help them create success (plus you will keep them advised of any other great ideas) in return for their business card. You now have permission to add them to your mailing list.
2. The file is a bit big to email as an attachment. Instead send them to to join the Wonderful Web Ideas list or to go straight to the download page.
3. Send the link to the book in an email to all your business associates (as well as your affiliate link for Wonderful Web Women). This will help position you as a person with great ideas and resources so when you are ready to build your mailing list they will want to join.

If you want to build a list from scratch and have a web site (or will soon)

1. Download the resellers package for the book in the members area (see how to here)
2. Edit the web pages I have created for you to personalise them (or copy and paste into your existing site)
3. Sign up for an aweber account and add the sign up box to the web page provided
4. Let everyone you know about your gift and send them to the opt in page so they can claim their gift
5. Start creating a relationship with people who join by emailing them with discussion on the book and the parts you really liked.

If you already have a list and want to strengthen your relationship

1. Download the resellers package
2. You will only need the download page I have created for you as people have already opted in to your list
3. Edit the download page to personalise it and add your affiliate link for Wonderful Web Women
4. Email your list and tell them of your gift. Link straight to the download page
5. If you don’t want to go to the hassle of uploading the web page, simply link straight to http://www.wonderfulwebwomen.com/recommends/goldbookdownload or

6. Discuss the book and how it applies to your niche (it is about the individual so it applies to every person). This will strengthen your relationship with your list.

How to Make Money with the book

1. Sign up for the Wonderful Web Women affiliate program and get your unique link (log in to the members area and click on affiliates at the top. I have also created a free affiliate handbook for you to help you)
2. Add the affiliate link to the download page for the book and in any emails you send out about the book
3. We will pay you 30% every month for every new gold member you send us (I LOVE paying affiliates)
4. Add the book as a bonus to a product you are selling
5. Add a link to the book and your affiliate link to the download page of any other product you may be selling.

How to use the book for off-line marketing

1. Print the book and sell it or give it away to potential clients or reward special clients
2. Print the book and add it as a bonus to other physical products you are selling
3. Give it as a bonus for early bird registrations for a workshop you run
4. Burn it to CD and use it in all the ways you would use the printed book
5. Burn to CD and also add a presentation on the CD about yourself and what you offer
6. When you advertise in magazines or newspapers, offer the book as a gift (printed, CD or link to your web site to subscribe)
