It All Starts With a Website

What is a website?

According to Wikipedia, a website is a collection of web pages, images, videos, or other digital assets that are hosted on one or more web servers, usually accessible via the Internet. All the websites make up the World Wide Web.

There are actually different types of websites:

traditional website – This type of website may have pages of content, AdSense or other ads, about me page, links page, product review pages, etc. These can be huge websites built up over the years and seen as authority sites.

product promotion/sales page/mini site – This is simply a sales page (short or long) to showcase a product that’s being sold. The only other pages you might see with this are a disclaimer page and/or a privacy page. The object is to get you to buy, not to click on pages and pages of content.

squeeze page – A squeeze page is a simple website page, or web page, that entices people to sign up for a free offer of a small product or information.

niche site – When marketers have several small sites in different niches, they probably have what are known as niche sites. These sites may have one page – a product review page – of a product they are selling as an affiliate, or a niche site might have 4 or 5 pages with each page marketing a different product within the same general niche.

Why do you want a website?

There are many excellent reasons to have a website. If you are selling your own product, you need a platform on which to sell it. Even if it’s a physical product, a website is a vehicle that can showcase and market your product for you. It’s a competitive marketing world out there and anything you can do to promote your product, like on your own website, is a plus. Many people do their shopping online these days.

A website can help brand you. If you want to be seen as the expert on xyz, then have a website about xyz where you can highlight what you know and/or showcase your services. A website provides a place to show examples of your work, list feedback and testimonials, and give your contact information. Your website can offer reassurance to a potential buyer.

What skills do you need?

If you’re a DIYer and want to make your own website, you will need an html editor and some training on how to use it. This includes knowing how to add images, audio, video, headers, content, etc. This is the least expensive, yet most time consuming route to take. It’s not super hard, but you do have to learn what you’re doing. Once you’ve learned, you can create many websites yourself!

Another option would be to use a ready-made website and make minor changes to it such as the website name and your name and contact info. These websites can be found as stand alone private label rights products (PLR) or as part of a PLR package that also includes a product to sell. This will still require you to have access to an html editor, but it’s a lot easier than starting from scratch.

The third choice is to outsource the creation of your website. While this is the way to go if you don’t have a lot of time to spend and don’t want to pull out all your hair during the inevitable frustrations of learning something new, it will cost you money. The question also arises whether you will be doing updates to the website or if you will be paying them to do any updating. The choice is yours; just make sure you own the domain name.

When putting together a website, you also need to know how to do the graphics for your header or know who to hire to do it for you. Remember, you want your website to look professional so you will be seen as a professional.

Other need-to-knows are how to buy a domain name, get hosting, and FTP your website onto your domain. Scary at first, but not hard!

What other strategies work well with your website?

An online presence is a must if you want to be a successful internet marketer. Having a website will go a long way in giving you a speaking platform, branding you, and showing off your services or products.

Web 2.0 For Internet Marketers

What is Web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is a broad term used for web technology that promotes sharing of information, commenting, and collaboration among users. Web 2.0 is also known as social media marketing. Have you seen blogs that use social bookmarking such as Digg, Delicious, and StumbleUpon? These fall under the Web 2.0 umbrella. Have you heard of Squidoo, FaceBook, Hub Pages, YouTube, MySpace, and Twitter? Yep, Web 2.0. These are all examples of social networking, and they’re free to use.

When I say Web 2.0 is about the sharing of information, I don’t mean snagging someone’s work and putting it on your website. What I’m talking about is sharing through social bookmarking. For example, you read someone’s excellent blog post and want to let others know about it. You can “Digg this” through Digg, “Stumble it” with StumbleUpon, “Tweet” it on Twitter, or use any of the other 2.0 avenues.

Why should you use Web 2.0?

One big reason to use social networking is that it brings you traffic. Let’s say you have 1200 people following you on Twitter and you’ve established yourself as someone personally interesting, a go-getter in your niche, and very helpful to others. When you happen to mention your latest blog post or your new product, people are going to come to your site for a look. Some will purchase too.

This traffic is free, money-wise, but you are trading your time for it so use your time wisely. Build relationships, be friendly, answer questions, help out, and send people to great blog content (yours or someone else’s), but don’t spend all day at it.

Another benefit is that search engines love fresh content. Web 2.0 sites seem to get better indexing position with the search engines and that’s probably because of the constant flow of new content.

The third reason I would like to touch on is the building relationships aspect of social network marketing. It’s about building trust. When others get to know you, trust you, and become your friend, they are going to buy from you rather than someone they don’t know.

One last big reason here is to brand yourself. If you video yourself explaining how to do something in your niche and then stick it on YouTube so it goes viral, you are going a long way in branding yourself as an expert in your field.

What skills do you need?

You need to know how to add social bookmarking plug-ins to your site(s). In addition, you will want to sign up for many of the 2.0 goodies. There are some finer points to learning how to use FaceBook, Twitter, and Squidoo to your full advantage, so further learning is in order.

Figuring out how to best manage and organize your time is important with your new social networking or it can take over your internet marketing life. These free traffic-getters are great, but you have to balance your time spent with how much you gain.

Of course, the more Web 2.0 strategies you use, the more exposure you get. But it is time consuming. Consider outsourcing some of this; like hiring someone to build your Squidoo lens or do your social bookmarking.

I would also say that you need to post some really great content on your blog so others will click on your “Digg this” icons. That means you have to write it yourself, rewrite PLR, or hire a ghostwriter to write it for you.

Traffic For Internet Marketers

What is traffic?

Traffic is the term internet marketers use when talking about visitors to their websites. Technically speaking, every time someone clicks on your website, it registers as a “hit”. You can keep track of these hits and other traffic information through your web host.

You can also think of traffic in terms of visitors to anything you have going; blogs, sales pages, forums, articles in article directories, Squidoo lens, HubPages, affiliate products, etc.

About the only time in your life you want to see heavy traffic is when it pertains to your business. As far as your marketing goes, the more traffic, the better!

Why do you need traffic?

It’s a no-brainer that you need traffic, aka. people, to visit in order to make sales. You may have the greatest gizmo in the world, but if no one knows about it and no one knows where to get it, you’re not going to sell any.

What’s worse is that the total number of websites on the internet today is thought to be over 150 million. Chances are, people are not going to just happen upon your site. Nope, you’re going to have to work it… let people know you’re not only alive, but wonderful.

Basically, you can get traffic any of the following ways (and in any number and combination):

1. Entice it –
You can write articles with your link included to put on article directories so others pick them up and use them on their sites.

Do instructional or informative videos and put them on YouTube so they go viral and a lot of people get to know you as an expert.

Practice SEO (search engine optimization) and use keywords in everything. These keywords are the words people put in search engines, like Google, when they’re looking for something specific.

Leave comments on forums with a link to your site in your signature line.

Create viral ebooks and give them away for free with links inside to your website or other products.

Have someone interview you and put it on a podcast.

Twitter occasionally about your website, your latest article, or the free ebook you just wrote, etc.

These are all free methods but require time-consuming work on your part.

2. Borrow it –
Do a joint venture with someone who has made a name for herself and you will gain clout and traffic.

Bring affiliates on board to promote your product. This will bring the affiliates’ lists of people over to look at what you’ve got going.

Get access to lots of traffic by participating in a giveaway event. Everyone who has a product listed in a giveaway will bring others to download products from the giveaway.

Trade real estate with another marketer to cross promote. You each put in a plug for the other’s product.

Do a guest blog post on an associate’s blog that sees lots of steady traffic.

3. Buy it –
Google AdWord ads are a common way to buy traffic. People will see your ad on other sites and may click over to view your site.

Buy ad space on another website or blog. These ads can be text links, banners, or small pixel ads.

Purchase ad space in a newsletter that goes out to lots of subscribers. The bigger the subscriber list, the more you’ll have to pay for your ad.

Do press releases. You can pay to have them written or write them yourself, but most businesses require payment to place your press release on their press release site.

What skills do you need?

There are so many ways to get traffic that you should probably start with a couple methods and learn how to really do them well. Otherwise, you’re going to be all over the place and not optimizing anything to its fullest potential.

Have a plan in hand so you can begin implementing your traffic getting strategies and don’t get off course. There are several good resources that can show you what to do step by step. Go with the reputable marketers who will show you white hat methods.

What other strategies work well with getting traffic?

Getting quality traffic is crucial to your business, but don’t forget to capture them when they come. Give away something of value to get opt-in subscribers and build your list of targeted customers.

Do You Know How To Write Great Sales Copy?

What is sales copy?

Sales copy is a bunch of words that when put together in just the right way will make you want to buy the product being written about. There’s something magical about good copy because it confronts your doubts, answers your questions, gives you hope, and satisfies your desires – all in 2 to 22 pages.

Why should you use great sales copy?

If you are an internet marketer then you are marketing on the internet, aren’t you? It’s all very well and good that you have created an outstanding product, but if you can’t convince other people of that, they will not buy from you. They won’t feel the need to purchase your product unless you tell them why they need it and how they’ll benefit from it.

Think about WIIFM (what’s in it for me). A great sales page isn’t a recap of what the product is, the page tells people what’s in it for them if they get this product. Another set of initials to remember with sales copy is AIDA which is attention, interest, desire, and action. These elements need to be addressed for the sales letter to do its job, which is to sell a product.

One could argue that sales copy is everywhere in your business – when you do a product review, send an email to your list, write a blog post, write a forum post, do social bookmarking, put up a Squidoo lens, etc.

What skills do you need?

There are three approaches to copywriting, depending on your finances and abilities:

1. Invest in copyrighting coaching to learn all the intricacies of good copyrighting.
This way you’ll learn the psychological triggers as well as what colors, fonts, font sizes, layouts, etc. work the best for selling on the internet. A coaching program is not the cheapest route and is not the best way to go if you have no desire to learn the art of writing sales copy.

2. Buy an ebook or follow a template.
There are many ebooks that can break down the fundamentals of copyrighting. This route may cause you delays as you learn how to write copy, but who knows, you may have quite the knack for it. This might be the only option for you when you’re first starting out and don’t have the funds. Study successful marketers’ sales pages and take notes of what works. Get your sales page critiqued on a copywriting forum or an internet marketing forum. Copywriters are always willing to give advice.

3. Hire a copywriter.
There are different levels of copywriters and they charge accordingly. If they have a proven track record of excellence and work for the gurus, they can charge around $20,000 a gig plus a percentage of the profits. If the copywriter is unknown, they may be a real bargain but they could also still be learning the finer points of sales copywriting. Perhaps the best route would be to use someone in the middle who isn’t outrageously expensive but can give you examples of their successful work. Do not put the fate of your product in the hands of the lowest bidder.

What other strategies work well with great copywriting?

Knowing how to write effective sales copy will definitely affect your bottom line. The better your sales letters are, the more you will sell. Even if you outsource all your big copywriting projects you will still need to know how to do it. You never know when you want to throw up a quick squeeze page or send an email to potential JV partners. So keep a swipe file of excellent headlines and subheadlines. Start another file with examples of really good copy (you know… those sales letters that make you buy something).

Like with almost everything else about internet marketing, the more attention you give to your sales copy, the better it gets and the more money you earn.

The Power of PLR

What is PLR?

In the internet marketing world, PLR stands for Private Label Rights. When you buy PLR, you are not only buying the product, you are buying the chance to change it, put your name on it, and use it just about any way you want. Every PLR item comes with terms of service that tell you what you can and can’t do with the PLR so find out these details before you purchase.

PLR can be articles, reports, ebooks, products, software, graphics, and videos. The difference between a ghostwritten article and a PLR article is that the ghostwritten one was written exclusively for you and costs more. A PLR article will cost you less, but you’re not the only one buying it. In exchange for the cheaper price, you’re going to have to do a little work to make yours look different.

Typically, with PLR you are allowed to put yourself as the author, rewrite it, add pictures, add video, add more PLR to it, take stuff out, change the name of it, change the graphics, sell it, give it away, etc.

Why should you use PLR?

The number one reason – someone else did all the time-consuming research. You get to come along and quickly make it your own and start profiting from it in any number of ways.

Here are just some of the things you can do with PLR:

  • Add PLR as content to your blogs and your websites. The search engines love fresh new content so you want to feed your sites constantly.
  • Bundle some together to create an instant ebook that you can sell or give away to people when they sign up for your list.
  • Load PLR into your autoresponder as an e-course.
  • Bundle together, add value, and give away at a giveaway event to build your list.
  • Rewrite and repackage PLR ebooks, software, or videos and sell as your own products. You get to become an instant authority.
  • You can use PLR as a backend product.
  • Or add it as a bonus to something else.

What skills do you need with PLR?

PLR is inexpensive because it is sold to more people than just you. That’s not a problem because you will rewrite your PLR to some degree. If you’re not sure how to rewrite PLR, see the resource box below.

I would say you need to do a little research in the beginning to find dependable sources of quality PLR. There are sites requiring a monthly membership fee that give you access to lots of PLR articles, ebooks, info products, etc. There are also sites that don’t require a membership and you can just buy what you want. It’s your choice, but first make sure the PLR is of good quality.

If you’re turning PLR articles into an ebook or making a PLR ebook your own, you need to know how to add pictures, add links, and turn it into a PDF. You should either know how to change the ebook cover or header graphics to show the new title and you as the author, or where to outsource it.

Some PLR products also come with sales pages. Even if the sales page is great, you’ll want to change it to reflect your story. If the sales page is not good, you’ll want to write your own or pay someone else to write it for you.

What other strategies work well with using PLR?

PLR is powerful stuff, no doubt about it. It takes less time to modify PLR to suit your needs than it does to create articles or a product from scratch. If you use PLR you will have the opportunity to get your name out there faster and start making money sooner. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Many successful marketers create their own ebooks or products and use PLR.

Offering Your Services On The Internet

In this article we’ll be exploring the idea of offering your services online to other internet marketers. This is the way many internet marketers get their start on the Internet; they provide specified work for other marketers for a fee. These include services like ghostwriting, graphics design, writing and/or installing scripts, writing PLR articles, putting up websites, and VA services. If you have special skills such as knowing how to develop software or having the ability to write well, then you might want to consider earning an online income in this manner.

Why should you offer your services on the Internet?

Creating an income with your services can be a nice steady source of income once you have built up a customer base. It can also become increasingly lucrative as you make a name for yourself. Such is the case with copywriters. The better you get and the bigger names you write for, the more $$ you can command.

As you get started, what better way to showcase your services than with your own website or blog? People don’t know you and don’t know yet if they can trust you. Your website shows who you are, what you stand for, what services you provide, your rates, examples of your work, and satisfied customer testimonials. These go a long way towards easing new customer fears.

Another reason to offer marketing services is that there is a need for quality services. If you want to sell something, you should always look for a need, right? Well, internet marketers always require fresh quality content for blogs, new software to be installed, files to be moved, websites to be updated, articles to be written, etc.

Offering services is also a good way to get your feet wet in the big internet marketing pond while earning an income. You will be learning the ins and outs of internet marketing while you’re providing services, and if you want to make the shift from offering services to offering digital products of your own, you’ll already have the background to get started.

Lastly, the Internet is a way to get traffic banging on your virtual door. Maybe you use offline sources like business cards and flyers, but adding your website link to your signature on forums and in your articles can really help boost your exposure.

What skills do you need?

Here’s the good part – you need whatever skills you already have or can hone. Can you write articles, do office work, man a help desk, design graphics or website headers, manage a business, write sales letters, add WordPress plug-ins, do keyword research, do video or audio, or set up Squidoo lenses? Take self-inventory to see what you’ve got and determine if there is a need for these services.

If you feel a little sketchy in the area you feel called to, then do your research and learn what you don’t already know. Fill in the blanks and become an expert . Also note that the marketers who contract your services may do so because they don’t know how to do something or because it’s not their specialty and they feel their time is better spent elsewhere.

You will need to market yourself and your services in the beginning and from time to time, so it would be in your best interest to learn more about internet marketing in order to market to the marketers. :)

What other strategies work well with offering your services on the Internet?

Take a look at your special strengths and decide what kind of services you can provide others. It may surprise you to know this, but not everyone can do what you do so easily and so well. Build your service website around your skills and go after it.

Building Your List

What is list building?

An internet marketer’s list is simply a list of people who have agreed to subscribe to it in order to get something of value from the marketer. A common way for a marketer to get people on her list is to have a sign-up box on her website or blog and offer a freebie; such as tips, insider info, a report, an ebook, a newsletter, or an ecourse. The people who sign up will get the free download product and the marketer will get their email addresses.

Once you have a list you can do all kinds of things with it. Some are good ideas – sending pertinent free information, helpful advice, discounts on products, heads up on market changes, honest product reviews, etc. And some are bad – sending nothing but promotion after promotion, twice daily emails, and non-relevant info.

Why should you build a list?

A good solid list of targeted, interested, hungry subscribers can be your bread and butter. It’s common knowledge in sales circles that it takes, on average, seven contacts with someone before they’re willing to buy from you. Sending quality information for free to your list is a good way to gain their trust and sell yourself before you try to sell your product.

A list of people who have already bought from you is worth gold. Since they’ve bought from you once, they now trust you and know what kind of quality and value you produce. They’re more likely to buy from you again and you don’t have to work it as hard as you do with a list of people who have just met you.

Offer a valuable freebie ? Build your list ? Send free high quality info and also market your products or affiliate products to your list ? Success and an income from marketing on the Internet.

What skills do you need?

Number 1 hands down; you need an autoresponder for several reasons. You need the double opt-in feature that an autoresponder has so you are compliant with the anti-spam laws. You also need the autoresponder to send out (blast or broadcast) your emails to everyone on your list without creating additional work for you. In addition, you will want the autoresponder’s ability to send out your email series. For example, you can set up your autoresponder to send the first email immediately after they sign up, the second one to go out 2 days later, the third to go out 5 days later, etc. You might have an ecourse you want to go out daily.

You will need to learn how to write effective emails to make your list subscribers happy and to help you with your promotions. There are do’s and don’ts about what to send and how to send and you should learn what you can about building and maintaining lists.

What other strategies work well with list building?

I do want to mention that some people will unsubscribe from your list. It’s hard to not take it personally, but think about the people who are still there – they want to be on your list and are going to be your best customers!

Do I Really Need a Mentor or Coach?

What are mentors and coaches?

A mentor is someone you respect and look up to as an expert in your field who can help show you the ropes of the business. It can be someone you have befriended that you can informally bounce occasional questions off of, or it can be someone you pay in order to pick their brain.

You can have many different mentors, all with more experience in different areas than you currently have. Maybe you have an SEO mentor, a techy mentor, and an article marketing mentor. You can go to any of them for help in these areas when you need it. Perhaps you can mentor others in your strengths as well.

Mastermind groups also fall in the general category of mentoring because with a mastermind group it’s like you have several mentors who help steer you straight and give you ideas. Mastermind groups are great for giving you help and holding you accountable.

A coach is usually a more formal affair. You pay them to show you what to do, step by step. Some coaches set up coaching programs with material and you don’t get to talk to them or have very limited access to them. They only allow a limited number of people into the coaching program and you all start at the same place.

A private coach is someone who works with you one on one. Of course, this is more expensive but you get the coach’s full attention and may find success sooner.

Why do you need a mentor or coach?

Why you need a mentor or coach can be answered by this interesting bit in “The Answer” by John Assaraf and Murray Smith: If you blindfolded a person and gave him a Rubik’s Cube to solve, it could take him up to 6 billion years to do it. If the blindfolded person sat next to a Rubik’s Cube expert who gave only “yes” or “no” answers to every twist of the cube the blindfolded person made, it would take the person less than 2 minutes to do it!

Ask yourself, do you want your route to success to be slow with many false turns? Or do you want to find a path that’s clear and short that gets you quickly to where you want to be?

Finding a mentor can be easy. Just take a look around Wonderful Web Women and you’ll see mentors all around you. These women are great role models and are successful at their crafts. You can learn a lot from them because they have the experience to tell you “Try it this way, not that way.”

What skills do you need with a mentor or coach?

Not so much about skills, but you do need to commit yourself to learning what they are trying to teach and you should be willing to do the work or lessons they give. You are seeking a mentor or coach to learn skills that you will need. They can only do so much; you need to take the reins of your own horse. I will also mention that you should keep an open mind and be eager to try new methods instead of whining, complaining, and stating that it won’t work for you because….

Take every chance to reciprocate when you can. Name dropping can help both of you – “I was at my wit’s end about that plug-in, when so-and-so, the WordPress King, came to my rescue.” It costs nothing to give them a public nod of appreciation and it helps others know who the experts are.

What other strategies work well with having a mentor or coach?

Finding a mentor comes naturally when you build relationships with others. Join forums, reach out to help others, and don’t be afraid to ask questions and give feedback. You won’t regret making online friends and the added bonus will be your business success. It’s like your business has jumped into the carpool lane – not only is it fun to have people along for the ride, but you get to drive faster than most everyone else. :)

Keywords, Keywords, Keywords

What are keywords?

Keywords or keyword phrases are the words people type into a search engine when they’re searching for something online. For example, someone looking for help to stop smoking may type how to stop smoking or stop smoking now or stop smoking in 30 days into the Google, Yahoo, or MSN search engines to find a site that answers their questions or can help them with their problems. These are keyword phrases they’ve typed in and what comes up is a list of websites with those keyword phrases in them.

You, as a marketer on the Internet, are on the other end of the keyword search. You want to bring people to your website or blog to buy your product(s) so you need to optimize your website with the keyword phrases people will be using to search for you. You can’t wait and hope for people to randomly find you what with so many websites out there today, so you have to drive traffic your way.

Keywords go in:

  • articles that you submit to article directories
  • content on your website
  • your website’s meta tags – although not considered as important now, as major search engines don’t appear to index meta tags anymore.
  • your website name if possible
  • blog posts
  • sales page for your product(s)
  • pay per click campaigns
  • Squidoo lens
  • Hubpages
  • podcasts
  • videos
  • pretty much anything you have online that you want to direct traffic to

Why should you use keywords?

The key to keywords is picking winning keyword phrases, or long tail keywords. Stop smoking gets over 300,000 searches a month, which is nice, but shows over 8 million sites with those keywords. Talk about tough competition! Stop smoking benefits gets around 1300 searches a month and there are 12,900 sites with those keywords. Which phrase would you rather compete with? Which one would give you a better chance of getting on the first or second page of Google?

To put it simply, keywords are how people find you through search engines. You need people, or traffic, to find your site in order to give information, make sales, grow your list, or do whatever your site is supposed to do. It doesn’t matter how beautiful your website or your widget is; no traffic means no sales.

What skills do you need?

Well, you need to know how to do keyword research and what parameters to use. There are differing opinions as to the number of (1) searches per month and (2) the number of websites with the keywords. Listen to what the experts have to say and do some testing of your own.

There are free keyword research tools. Free is good but time-consuming. There are also tools you can purchase that cut down on your research time. Keyword research services are also available to you for a monthly fee, or if you’d rather you can outsource the task.

What other strategies work well with using keywords?

You might have some excellent content already on your website or blog that is not optimized for keyword phrases. It’s not too late to fix that! Go back to your blog, do some keyword research, and put your new keyword phrases into your better posts (especially the ones that are promoting something.) Just make sure you’re not “stuffing”, i.e. going overboard with the keywords, and that the article still makes sense. Remember you are writing for the reader first and the search engines second.

Jump Start Your Online Business with Blogging

What is a blog?

You probably already know that the word “blog” is a shortened version of “web log” and that a blog is a platform on which someone or some company can impart information. Simply put, a blog is a place where you can tell friends, business associates, or clients what you want them to know about you and/or your company.
A blog is not the exact same thing as a website. The beauty of a blog is that it can easily be updated as often as you’d like with current information, whereas a website isn’t changed very often. Also, because blogs are constantly being updated with new posts, the search engines love blogs and can rank them higher in searches. Another factor favoring blogs is that they usually have more elements of your personality than a static website.
Probably the benefit I like the best about blogs over websites is that blog readers are encouraged to give feedback by way of the Leave A Comment function. When people leave comments on your blog it shows that your blog is being respectfully read and that makes you a bit of a trusted expert. Blog commenting forges a sense of “team” and team players can give you valuable info on what to blog about and what products you should create. They’re also more likely to buy from you.

Why should you blog?

Before you begin, before you write your very first post, determine the purpose of your blog. What will be the function of your blog? Is it a base for political rants, personal matters, educational info, a narrow niche interest, reviews of affiliate products, promotion of your service, to sell products, or a combination?
With the exception of personal blogging, the bottom line is that you want to establish yourself as an expert, the go-to person, and you want to make money, right? Think about how you want to monetize your blog. Do you want to have ads or AdSense? Do you want to do occasional product reviews or other promotions? Do you want to showcase your ghostwriting services? Do you want to set up a store?

What skills do you need?

Setting up a blog is much easier and quicker than setting up a website for the online beginner and it doesn’t require that you know html or advanced web building skills. In fact, once you know what you’re doing and have done it a few times, you can throw up a new blog in minutes. I recommend you view some video tutorials to get started.
Keeping your blog fed by continually posting fresh content on a regular basis can be the hardest, yet most rewarding part. Before you start, make sure there is plenty to say about your blog topic and that it’s not so narrow that your idea well will run dry. For example, how many posts can you write about staplers or toenail fungus?

What other strategies work well with having a blog?
